eLearning CE: Activity 3 Peng Kang Xiong (20)

Leaders know what their mission is. They must also have a vision that needs to be abstract enough to encourage people to imagine it but concrete enough for followers to see it, understand it and be willing to climb onboard to fulfill it, as well as goals that need to be operational; that are specific and measurable. Apart from these, leaders must be seen by their advisors, stakeholders, employees, and the public as being an expert in their field. A wise leader assembles effective teams of experienced, credentialed, and capable individuals who can supplement any voids in the leader's skill set.
Most importantly, they must have ambition. a wise leader assembles effective teams of experienced, credentialed, and capable individuals who can supplement any voids in the leader's skill set.
Basically, the leader needs to "be out there" for whoever he or she is leading and show them why they are in that position.
